you've schedule an appointment, how should you prepare?
If you are scheduled for anything OTHER than an IV therapy treatment or IM injections, be sure to come to each and every appointment with a clean, makeup free face. Moisturizer is just fine, but give your skin a break, let it breathe and just come as you are. No judgment here! The importance of this is two fold: it helps prevent infection and it gives me an opportunity to assess your skin needs and suggest treatments/skincare products that will benefit you.
If scheduled for an IV infusion or B12 injections, please wear a short sleeved shirt.
Please take the time to complete any online consent forms or health history forms before you arrive as that will assure that your appointment time isn’t wasted.

during your appointment...
After reviewing your health history, your goals and budget, we will start with your chosen service. If at any point you have questions or concerns, please always feel free to stop me and ask questions. I LOVE questions!
post service care.
Neuromodulator (Botox/Dysport/Jeuveau)
Stay upright for at least 1 hour after your treatment. Avoid touching/rubbing/massaging the areas treated for 24 hours, as this could move the neuromodulator into other, unwanted areas of the face and eyes. Avoid strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours after injections. Wash your face that evening using gentle patting motions, avoiding vigorous cleaning with hands or any facial cleansing devices.

Stay upright for 24 hours. Avoid sleeping on the areas you had injected (think cheeks and lips). If you can, it’s easiest to sleep in a more upright position the first evening after your appointment. You can use ice packs on and off for your comfort. Please DO NOT massage the areas injected unless directed otherwise by me. Please avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours after your appointment.
Avoid any application of makeup for 24 hours post dermaplane as your skin heals. Please follow a gentle skin care routine for the first 48 hours after your procedure and avoid using any retinol containing products for 24 hours after your dermaplane.
You may resume your normal activities after your infusion. Please watch the IV site for any increase in redness or pain. Please remember to contact my office with any questions or concerns.
If the injection site becomes painful you can apply ice and take Tylenol as you feel necessary, and give us a call/text.
